Hi gysd, this caught me out too the first time I tried it. You need to use a tiff with transparency rather than with an alpha channel - these are not quite the same thing.

In the simplest case, just move the song to the start of the catalog. See also the section "Adding a soundtrack to a slide show" in the manual (p55 in my copy).

We have improved embedding annotations in raw files somewhat in 2.6, although I can't recall if D2H NEF files were one of those affected.

Do you mean folders in the Finder/Explorer or folders in the Organize panel?

If it's the former then you need to hold down the option key (ctrl key on Windows) to force a copy if the folder is on ...
