Printing is fine from other applications - it's just in iView. So surely it's unlikely to be the driver?.. I'll look for an update though.

or you can right click the various fields in the organize view to "select content". There could be a modifier key for this which would be easier.

Do you mean iView doesn't see the drive and just gives the error message? - or that the message is appearing regardless of a connected drive (camera/ media card)?

Or even easier, copy the folders accross, select all items in each catalogue and reset paths from the find menu - just point to the root folder of the new directory, iView will find them all.

It sounds like all you want is to avoid the confusion, in which case it's simple, just prefix the template fields. The fields are, on the Index page of the template set you're using:
