How do you get the file names to print out on media sheets on version 3? I only seem to be able to get the file names on the contact sheet, where the image sizes are too small. Thanks

katya01:

Welcome to the iView Forum. In the Print window you need to select the "Print View Fields" checkbox.

Man.....this upgrade(3/3.0.1) has caused a bunch of annoyances.....I know nothing is perfect but geez.....seems like everyone is running into problems everywhere.

Make sure you have the fields you want printed activated and displaying in the thumbnail view.

Hi Old Toad,

Make sure you have the fields you want printed activated and displaying in the thumbnail view.

Did you mean Media view? My experience with v3 is the Media view has no fields displayed by default. I've set the view option for Media to display filenames, and saved it as default. Then I print my CD inserts.

Oops. You're right. Should have said media. Thanks for the correction.
The default is nil fields. That's why I've created a template catalog with all my metadata, fields, backgrounds, etc. set as I want and then use it whenever I want to create a new catalog - but that's for another thread.
