Hello All,

I just downloaded the ivmp 3.1 to see if I want to shell out the cash for the newest version, but my problem is that I prefer a 16-bit workflow and I haven't found anything in the software that supports exporting 16-bit tiffs. Am I overlooking something? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Hi,

AFAIK iView uses QuickTime for exporting and doesn't output 16 bit anything. I use various Photoshop droplets for exporting.

Thanks Roberte,

You confirm my suspicions. I'll probably still get the software because it's fast and intuitive. Adobe Lightroom can export 16-bit tiffs, and while it's a free beta, it runs "dog slow" on my Powerbook G4, and I just don't have the funds to upgrade to a MacBook Pro.

Thanks again.

Hi,

I may be wrong. According to Apple QuickTime can output 16 bit TIFFs. It could be iView's implementation. Why not ask iView?
