I have Media Pro 3.1.1 but it will not import RAW files from my Leica D-Lux 2.

I never had any trouble, but since a few days I have the same problem: iview won't read my leica raws.
I already reinstalled iview: same problem.
Does anyone have help, please?

Dear All,

I have the same problem with the Panasonic DMC-LX2; iView cannot import the raw files; real bummer. I have posted a question to TechSupport and will advise later.

Regards,

Justin

The same applies to the similar Panasonic RAW files, which used to be imported but incorrectly - two of the colour channels were swapped giving "interesting" results.

My guess is they pulled the plug on Panasonic/Leica RAW because of the problem; I routinely convert all my raw files to DNG anyway so although I noticed the problem it didn't worry me unduly.

I can strongly recommend the DNG route for all sorts of reasons.

Dear John,

Tks. for the reply; I had already tried the DNG conversion (other forum posting had mentioned that) and it worked fine. Unfortunately I found it quite slow (PS CS2 w converter V 3.6x141), but that is the method to use in this case; for all other RAW I will leave as Canon RAW.

Regards,

Justin
