On "export annotations to original file" the v3 Manual is silent on append vs. replace.

Are new annotations appended to the original?

The manual is specific on the import to catalog, and provides the required logic options.

Steve:

Welcome to the iView Forum. The sync is append. It does not replace what's already in any particular field, except for Label and Rating.

This is the iView Media forum. Future questions will be best answered in the iView MediaPro forum.

Do you Twango?

Many thanks! Label & Rating makes sense. Probably the other single-valued fields as well, say Title.

Dang, that's embarassing - posted in the wrong forum!
