I read already on this forum that the Default-theme does not show the descriptions added with the photo's.
But now i have the same problem with the Basic-theme (the only theme that i really like).
I just hope that 'Basic' does not mean that i won't show the descriptions...

Can anyone help me?

Alaska:

It doesn't look like that theme has either the Description or File Name in it. You can edit the Media.html template and add "(iView:Caption) " just after the code of the media image file code "(iView:MediaFile)" The code would look like this:
Code:
   <p>(iView:Media)</p><br>
   (iView:Caption)

Do you Twango?

Thanks for your reaction, but i can't find the theme on my disc. I can only find the themes i later downloaded, but the original themes that came with the program (including the Basic-theme) doesn't show up anywhere.

Can anyone help (either explaining where to find the files, or a URL where the Basic-theme can be downloaded)?

It's in the iView application package. On the Mac Control-Click on the application and select Show Package Contents in the Contextual menu. Then navigate to the Contents/SharedSupport/Plug-ins/HTML Templates folder. Copy the Basic folder to the desktop, rename it appropriately and then edit the template. When you're done, place it in your User/Library/Application Support/iView/Plug-ins/HTML Templates folder. For PC's you'll need to get help from the likes of roberte, drmrbrewer, johnbeardy or another PC experts.
