|
|
Hi,
When building an HTML gallery, please can someone tell me how to display Exif & Annotations data in the gallery when using the Umalaire Theme (I need to show Capture Date and Title in the web site media view).
Many thanks,

David:
Did you ever get an answer to your question. Just ran across your post and though I'd add what I could. You can edit the media.html layout file to include the Capture Date and Title. But I'm not sure which iView code corresponds to Title in the Annotations section. Here's the code you'd need to have.
Code: | <p class="photo">(iView:Media)
</p>
<p class="caption">(iView:Caption)
<br />
<br />(iView:Filename)
<br />(iView:CaptureDate)
<br> (iView:AuthorTitle)
</p>
|
The "(iView:AuthorTitle)" is where you'd put the correct code of the Title as iView has it in its Info view but have not found the correct code for that field.. All of the possible fields and codes are in the About HTML Galleries in iView MediaPro 3 pdf file.

Thanks Old Toad.
This HTML talk scares me. Why can't they just have all this control of gallery generation in a dialogue box ?
But you continued help is very much appreciated !
Thank you.
Best wishes,

David
Because they can never predict all the things people might want to customize. HTML isn't that difficult, so be brave.
