Hi All,
With all the latest versions of iview media pro (after the 2.X version) if i import pictures from our archive to a catalogue, the program fails to import the metadata.
This problem does not occur with all the pictures but just with some of them;
I can't figure out wich is the difference between photos correctly imported & the ones that fail: both of them show correctly the metadata if i open them with Photomechanic or Photoshop.
The only way that i've discovered to bypass this issue is to apply with Photomechanic an empty IPTC stationary pad (though without erasing the original IPTC) to the problematic pictures.
After this quite absurd operation iview media pro correctly import the metadata.
...But our archive is definetely too huge for applying this operation for every picture in every single folder
Could someone explain me this issue of the version 3.X or at list give me some advice to solve the problem?
Thank you in advance
Stefano
