Hi,

I have been using iphoto, but have been trying iview as it has so many postive reviews, I've really just started with it and when I imported some of my pictures the folders have little red question marks on some of them.

Can anyone tell me what that means and how I can make them go away, also, how do you delete a folder from my PHOTOS catalogue?

Sorry if these are really basic questions, I've skimmed through the manual and did not find the answers (maybe I'm not looking hard enough).

I can't believe how much faster than iphoto iview is.

many thanks

Julie

Julie:
You get the red question mark when the folder's name has been changed thru the Finder after it's been imported into iView. You need to select all of the images in the folder in the Thumbnail window and then go to the Find -> Reset paths menu item. You will then be asked to navigate to the folder with the image files in it and select it. That will get rid of the question mark.

To delete a folder from the catalog, select the folder in the Folder window pane and hit the Delete key. A window will come up asking if that's what you want to do.

Hope this has been of some help. Good luck.
