i just went to a MAC after years of a pc and am very disappointed w/ iphoto. i am used to and loved Adobe Photoshop Album and the ease of jumping to Photoshop Elements. Not to mention the metadata thing! With iphoto I can't tell if a photo has been edited or not! Now I am interested in getting iview MediaPro 2.0 but have some questions: 1)will it accept AVI video files from my Canon S50 (a HUGE bummer in iphoto), 2)will it now accept RAW files w/o having to convert them (I saw this was a concern in an earlier version), 3)is the basic editing comparable to the basic editing in Photoshop Elements (all I can do) and 3)will it integrate easily w/ iphoto and imovie for all the good integration things (books, icards, Homepage etc. - all the reasons I switched to a MAC!).

Thanks![/b]

I use Photoshop for most of my editing, but there are aspects of iView's that are very good. It's far more capable than those in iPhoto. The nice thing about iView is that you save each edit and can go back to ANY of the previous edits any time.
