I am running Iview Media Pro on a G4 OSX notebook with 1GB Ram. There appears to be a problem with the memory allocation with OSX and it is affecting the performance of this software. For example, I use Iview mediapro to categorize, delete and rotate several hundred wedding images at a time. To rotate images, I label several hundred images and run them through the image editor to be rotated and batch saved to the hard drive. About a quarter of the way into this batch process the application would suddenly quit indicated that it was having an Error-108 memory problem. I have tried solving this problem by doing the following and I would appreciate your expert advice on this: I cranked the Minimum and Proffered Memory sizes to 3000 and 50000KB respectively and opening the program in classic mode all by doing a get info on Iview in the file menu inside the applications folder. After I did this, I was finally able to run a successful batch rotation on several hundred images with out any grief. My question to experts running this program is this going to be enough memory or have I cranked it up too much and will begin noticing problems with my other memory hogs like Photoshop CS??
