Hi

I'm a happy user of iview for quite some time. Until now I always looked for an album solution with mysql/php. But none of the available products is fulfilling my needs. Especially all those IPTC-data are not displayed.

I'm working now with JAlbum and I'm quite happy with it.

My library is organised in folders like photographer/camera or event. All the cataloging is done with events and other informations.

For JAlbum I created now a hierarchy of directories with symlinks to the original picture. Quite some handwork. With this solution I have a nice way to create albums with no overhead of double files and much less disk space.

I'm looking now for a solution to create from the catalog set a file hierarchy with symlinks to the original picture.

Does anybody has a script doing that or could somebody show the way to that?

Best regards
Ecki
