This is odd. I have 5 mg images which open in irfan view and photoshop as huge but in iview nedia view they have shrunk to tiny images and when ticked to enlarge they become pixillated.

Any reason for this

Platform Windows XP media pro

Hi,

Since you're in the Catalog Reader forum I assume you're not discussing MediaPro. To display fullscreen images the Reader requires access to the original items or you need to embed Fullscreen Previews into the Catalog. Come to think of it, so does MediaPro.

I may be a little lost as to what forum I should be in

When I change an image to media view in Windows it shows a size of 160x120. WHen I right click on it and hit "show media file" the size of the image is 3008x2000 and yet preview is set to 100%

Henry

Hi Henry,

Where are the images stored (local HDD, DVD, Network, etc)?

What type of images are they (RAW, JPEG, TIFF)?

What platform are you on (WIN XP, Mac OS X 10.4.8)?

What version of iView are you using (Media, MediaPro, Reader) and what version is it (3.1.2, 3.1.1)?

What settings do you have for Thumbnails & Fullscreen Previews?

Thanks

It was the full screen preview setting which was the problem
