Has anyone out there found or created a good set of instructions to send to clients along with the Catalog Reader? (I send version 3.1.1)
Thanks.

I would be happy to share with you a Word document, a couple years old now, that I used to instruct people in using Catalog Reader. It covers downloading Quicktime and viewing a slideshow with iView, and included some screen shots to illustrate the steps involved.

Send me email if you're interested and I'll reply and attach the file, or if you know a good way to post it for general use, I'd be happy to do that.

It might be best to wait a day and see if someone else has something more recent.

Thanks for the offer Bob. Yes, I'd appreciate you sending a copy of those instructions. My email is leon@ottertrack.com

Best wishes!

Hi,

Microsoft have a User Guide for the Catalog Reader. It's available at the bottom of this page under Resources:

www.microsoft.com/expression/products/download.aspx?key=reader

Thanks Robert.

I'm not using EM yet so I was hoping to find a clear set of instructions to send with the ivmp Catalog Reader.

They are essentially the same application. Just under different skins.

Are you saying that if I sent the EM Catalog Reader instructions with an ivmp catalog there wouldn't be enough differences to confuse my clients?
